Māteria was featured in an episode of Manhãs na TV, broadcast on Kuriakos TV—a national television platform recognized for its cultural and lifestyle programming.
Māteria – Pizza & Amore was named Best Italian Pizzeria in Lisbon at the city’s first Pizza Contest, organized by the Italiani a Lisbona community and sponsored by Lisbon Magazine. The contest ran from January to June 2024, featuring eight selected pizzerias and nearly 50 pizzas, judged by close to 200 members of Lisbon’s Italian community.
Māteria was featured in PÚBLICO, one of Portugal’s most respected and credible national newspapers, in an article highlighting Italian-led restaurants awarded in Lisbon and Barreiro. This recognition reflects Māteria’s contribution to Italy’s culinary presence in Portugal and its growing recognition within the local dining scene.
Māteria was awarded Best Restaurant & Pizzeria in Portugal 2025 by Comites Portogallo (Committee of Italians Abroad), recognizing excellence in Italian cuisine, hospitality, and cultural representation in Portugal.
